Experience

An ephemeral gateway to a new dimension of sensory experience.

The room is dark and warm. There are platforms on the floor and places to lie down, and people generally take a few minutes to decide they are allowed to.

Overhead hangs the Quantum Qube, mirrored inward and lit along its edges, holding a recursion of itself that runs past where the eye can follow. Most people find they have been looking into it for longer than they meant to.

When the low end starts, it arrives through whatever part of you is touching the floor. The chest registers it first. Sound moves overhead and around the edges of the room, light moves with it on the same rhythmic structure, and the two stay locked together long enough that the body stops tracking them separately.

Looking up into the Qube: mirrored interior faces lit in bands of magenta, orange and green, receding into an apparently endless recursion.

Practical

Sessions run long. Nothing is asked of anyone in the room — no instruction, no participation, no performance. People arrive at their own pace and leave when they are ready.

The whole system travels. It has been built into warehouse event spaces and gallery rooms, and it scales to the space it is given.
